1. FITNESS AND PERSONAL TRAINING

The expert fitness and training at My Retreat is brought to you by the coaches at No.17 Personal Training Ireland. The coaches at No.17 are leaders in their field with over 50 years personal training experience between them with international top athletes. 

Retreats will comprise of both group training and one-to-one personal training. Working one-to-one with guests allows us to tailor programmes based on each individual’s needs. We work hard to ensure each client achieves their own personal results.

Each day guests are brought through strategically planned workout regimens that will complement their daily macronutrient intake. These individual workouts are designed with a scientific basis to ensure their bodies are transforming; physically, structurally, mentally and hormonally. 

Each guest will be educated on the different strengths and weaknesses of their body, and how best to continue their regimes after My Retreat, helping them to build and grow confidence to work out at home. 

We encourage all attendees to visit No.17 prior to My Retreat to meet with our team and go through a full consultation, answering any queries you may have. All guests will also receive an assessment while on retreat. 


  2. WELLNESS

Wellness is the bringing together of all pillars. Your mind, your body and your vital energy all dictate how you feel function and perform. At My Retreat, we know how to create the right dose response from our programs to ensure everyone is nurturing themselves in a manner that promotes optimum wellness.

Our experience has brought us to a point where we see what tools are needed to elicit change and how best to implement a program that is individualised enough to reach guests with varying needs, to bring everyone to a state of optimum wellness.


3.  NOURISH AND SOUL (NUTRITION) 

Your Digestive system is regarded as the engine of the body. There are two things to note about this, 1, being that you need an engine that’s running optimally and without any dysfunction. 2) you need to ensure that engine is fuelled with the right nutrients and that its capable of absorbing them properly. 

We encourage all My Retreat participants to meet with us one month before the retreat to get started with our nutrition protocols and to optimize their gut health with our optimal digestive health strategies. This sets your body up to absorb our 5 star healthy cuisine properly to optimize recovery and keep you on top form for all training and exercise demands 

Each meal is planned out in conjunction with the training week. Carbohydrates and fats are cycled at different points to help optimize fat loss, whilst Protein content is controlled and altered based on each individual. My Retreats nutrition programs are an essential piece to the whole puzzle and we take great pride in the quality of meals we provide .
